Last Ditch Failure

I created Last Ditch Failure as I was finding, applying for and ultimately being rejected from a promising clinical trial. Beginning with the initial screening call on through reflecting on my ultimate rejection, each piece represents a moment in the process. The entire series is influenced by the state of mind that one must be in in order to seek out and consent to highly experimental neuromodulation treatment. Furthermore, Last Ditch Failure tracks the insidious tendril of early hoping budding only to be ultimately crushed by rejection and a return to familiar failed options.
