Rediscovering Sensation

I am an artist and right handed. Over the last year, I have been struggling to adapt as the nerves that feed my right hand are deteriorating. But recently, I have begun to regain function in places the doctors swore my nerves had died and I would never be able to feel again. Recovering Sensation is an exploration of what my hands can do now and a reflection on the experience of using capacities that I thought were permanently beyond me.
