Body and Spirit

Body and Spirit began as a drawing about the experience pain and weakness radiating down my to my fist nestled against my chest and supported by a finger hooked through my shirt collar. In the course of developing the image further, I came to understand that my experience was not of a defined physical deficit in my arm. Rather, the shoulder and fist developed into two interconnected nexuses. One for my bodily experiences and physical illness and one for the spiritual-mental arena. My experiences and sensations flow between them. Each influencing the other. For me, the physical and the mental are not so easily divisible.
