The Gunas

Here we see a representation of the gunas. Taken together they have a balanced triangular geometry. Tamas and rajas are shown as largely separated areas of greens and blues. They share a twisted and chaotic form. Both qualities were drawn with my left hand and do capture my own vacillating and often self-defeating attitudes towards my growing debilitation. Sattva balances the other two not by presenting an equal mass but rather through the sparsely beautiful twin spirals of the individual yield and the radiance that awakes with it. I drew sattva with my right hand. I could claim that it simply required a dexterity I do not have left handed. But it is egotism to cause myself pain in order to achieve the image I want rather than working with what is.
