What if winter never came?
When winter doesn’t show up on time, Ferdi the Goose and his flock have a big choice to make: fly south like always, or stay and see what happens. With help from friends (and a few noisy neighbors), Ferdi learns how to be brave, flexible, and kind when the weather—and life—don’t go as planned. Sometimes the seasons don’t follow the rules, and this story gently helps kids make sense of a changing world.

Mostly he would prefer to hang out with the teenage squirrels. |  ShayShay is Ferdi’s sister and the oldest of the goose siblings. |  LynnLynn is Shay’s best friend and the athlete of the flock. The best thing about staying North for winter: new snow sports! |
